Enabling screen-lock passcode policy for iOS devices

Enabling passcode policy will enforce device user to have a screen-lock passcode all the time. Administrator can remotely enable this policy for a single device, or a group or even for a Home node(entire company level). Please note that, Administrator doesn’t need to set the passcode, device owner will set the actual passcode. Administrator only sets the passcode requirements.

Steps:

1. Login to Codeproof Console.
2. Go to Mobile Policy Manager from top menu.
3. Select a single device or a group of devices from left side tree.
4. On right side panel, go to “iOS Security” and then goto “iOS Configurations”.
5. Check the “enable passcode” checkbox and set various password lengths requirements and hit “Save” below.
6. Now, Device will ask for a new password if device doesn’t have one already meeting the above password requirements. User must provide a passcode lock within 60 minutes.
